About Vitu Vitu (whose parent company is Motor Vehicle Software Corporation — MVSC) is the nation’s leading Vehicle-to-Government (V2Gov) technological innovator redefining how vehicles interact with government. Through public/private partnerships, Vitu builds the infrastructure and manages the interactions required to transform existing legacy systems — adopting modern and emerging technologies with a key focus on vehicle registration, titling, smog, and insurance. Vitu also aggressively advocates for policy changes at both the federal and state level required to support such transformations. To date, Vitu has processed over 23 million transactions on behalf of its government partners through its SaaS solutions for business, web and mobile applications for consumers, and on-board diagnostic integrations for vehicles. In addition to innovating in the V2Gov space, Vitu continuously strives to positively impact individuals and organizations outside of the company. An inspired, four-year campaign to put “Pink Plates” on California’s vehicles in support of breast cancer awareness culminated with the distribution of the actual plates in early 2018. Vitu and its staff regularly participate in and sponsor numerous charitable events, and often find generous support from client organizations and dealerships. In 2018, an official internship program continues with a focus on mentoring and exposing a growing number of college students to the various facets of Vitu, including software development, legislative efforts, and project management.

In 2015, MVSC launched Vitu, the new way to manage V2Gov transactions across the nation.

The Vitu platform is built with the ability to configure dates/timelines, taxes, fees, etc., according to the specific regulations and laws of any participating state. Vitu has established formal policies and procedures for the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and change management. These guidelines require any changes to be authorized, tested, approved, and documented. Should a modification be needed by a certain regulatory deadline, Vitu will work with states to ensure testing and approval are completed well in advance. Vitu is determined to exceed the expectations of any state, organization or business by offering a full slate of services backed by local experts. In understanding the needs of a state, a knowledgeable team is primed and ready to execute the policies and procedures necessary to implement a complete vision — from a well-informed support staff to a state-of-the-art centralized fulfillment center. Vitu works with government partners to initiate change in process to best modernize current procedures as well as identify methods to streamline existing practices. This may potentially involve legislative action to pave the way for innovations such as digital signatures and electronic submission of documents.

Vitu leads the industry with complete inventory management — from centralized plate fulfillment to on-demand printing of stickers and registration cards. With centralized plate fulfillment, the burden on any given organization to order, maintain and secure license plates and stickers on-site — including the headaches associated with it — are a thing of the past. Vitu already offers a simple solution. After a user successfully submits an eFile/EVR transaction: 1. Vitu’s fulfillment center is alerted immediately 2. License plates are pulled from inventory 3. The registration card is printed on-demand along with the sticker
