Committed to getting crime victim compensation claims resolved in a fair, compassionate and efficientmanner.

Department Update : Both CICF and SAFE claims submitted are holding steady. CICF claims paid this month are down slightly from March, but remain above average. SAFE claims paid remain just above average. Hospital awards were up significantly, while awards for funerals returned to a normal amount after a spike in March. Outreach provided training on Responding to Adult Sexual Assault, the Latisha’s House Shelter (human trafficking), Fredericksburg VictimWitness Program, Green County VictimWitness Program, and a Family Assistance Center presentation for law enforcement. Also, had a presence at Virginia Union Safety Day and the Rally 4 Sexual Assault Survivors.
